On this page you will find answers to frequently asked questions and important information to make your visit smooth and enjoyable. Whether you want to know if a helmet is mandatory, which bike size is suitable, or how to make a reservation—all the details are listed here for you.
If your question is not listed, feel free to contact us. Have fun cycling!
A helmet is mandatory at all times when using the track. You can bring your own or rent one from us.
Reservations are mandatory, so you can be sure there is a spot for you on the track. We allow a maximum number of riders per time slot to ensure it doesn't get too crowded and you have enough space to ride!
During school holidays, reservations are also mandatory. You can make a reservation using the button at the bottom left of the screen, where you can also reserve packages or rental bikes/helmets.
Mountain biking comes with risks! That's why we have established rules and conditions to allow everyone to participate safely at Indoor Mountainbike.
Access to the route? First, fill in the participant form digitally. Bringing someone else's child? Then consult with the parents/guardians. You can easily fill in the form online here.
We have rental mountain bikes from CUBE for both adults and children. The smallest size we have is a children's bike 20″ (for height from 1.15m), and the largest size is an adult model 23″ (for height over 1.95m).
To ensure you get a mountain bike, please reserve the equipment you need in advance. Indicate what you would like to rent in the reservation (last step). You can choose the right size based on your height during the reservation process. For example, if you are 1.70m tall, you would choose a size M for adults.
Feeling adventurous? Then try a full suspension carbon or dirt jump bike!
Yes, of course, that's possible. However, it is important that the bike is intended for off-road riding and is equipped with at least one working brake.
Wear comfortable, sporty clothes, and make sure they fit well to avoid getting caught on anything.
In the greenhouse, the temperature differences can be significant. Use the guidelines below for different weather conditions:
You can store extra clothes in our lockers free of charge.
With a valid access pass and on a bike, you can accompany as a supervisor, for example, for your child or companion. It is not allowed to train or teach on the route on your own.
The route may not be entered on foot. Children up to 14 years old must always be accompanied by an adult during their first visit to our indoor bike park. During a second visit, an adult must also remain present for children under 14 years old.
Mountain bikes with electric assistance are just as welcome on our route, provided they are limited according to the EU standard of 25 km/h.
Certainly! From our catering facility, you have a clear view of the track while enjoying a delicious cup of coffee and a piece of cake.
Every Friday night we are open until 21:30 and you can join the Bike & BBQ! Enjoy a delicious meal from our Oklahoma Smoker BBQ, including a side dish like crispy fries. Every week there is a different dish on the menu, such as spare ribs, burgers, or satay.
Want to join? Reserve your spot via our online reservation system. Don't feel like biking? No problem! With a BBQ-only ticket, you can just join the meal.
Certainly, we actually prefer that ourselves.
Indoor Mountainbike is generally suitable for children from 7/8 years. Children can participate if they:
✔ Have been cycling without training wheels for at least 2 years, and can pedal and steer simultaneously
✔ Can brake independently, even in sharp turns or during an emergency stop
✔ Have some experience on unpaved terrain, not just on sidewalks or roads
✔ Are not afraid of small stones, curbs, and corners
✔ Ride a suitable bike, 20” rental bikes available, from ±110 cm height
✔ Do not pose a danger to others, for example, by stopping or dismounting unexpectedly
✔ Are accompanied by a parent on a bike, guiding on foot is not allowed
Our staff always keeps an eye out. Children do not need to ride perfectly, but a solid foundation helps to prevent fear and accidents.
For children under 7, but who are enthusiastic about mountain biking, we have our kiddy-bike hour to get acquainted with riding in the indoor park! In addition, young children can entertain themselves in the catering area in the play corner while parents relax.
How wonderful that your little one is already so enthusiastic about mountain biking! For safety reasons, it is not allowed to access the route with a balance bike at any time, but fortunately, we have a solution for that:
Every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month from 9:30-10:30, we organize the Kiddy-Bike Hour. The track is extra quiet then, so the very youngest can gain their first real bike experience in peace.
What you need to know:
Reservations can be easily made via the reservation-button, select 'free mountain biking' and then 'kiddy bike hour'.
We love dogs and of course, they are welcome in our catering facility (unfortunately not on the mountain bike course), provided they are accompanied and on a leash. A fresh bowl of water is ready!
That can be done very easily (and free of charge) right in front of our door!
Unfortunately, it is not yet possible to charge an electric car in our parking lot.
